While being a part of a corporate or an MBE network has its advantages, awareness of how your customers evaluate the potential risk you present to their supply chain is equally important. With the current economic challenges, customers are keenly focused on and sensitive to the impact suppliers can have on future business. The reviewable risks can include current and future financial stability, strategic agility if natural disaster, geographical location, capacity availability of assets, work force availability, and growth based on revenue percentage. Rob leads a Procurement Operations team which focuses on transforming transaction processes that support strategic procurement resources. This critical work will transform processing through Lean tools to enable automation. He has been with Trane Technologies for 30 years in various positions including manufacturing engineer, project engineer, operations manager, materials manager, and commodity manager. Rob earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
