May 2 …. is the new date for the upcoming Impact Awards
The 84th NFL Draft will be held in downtown Nashville, TN, April 25-27. This coincides with our Impact Awards Gala, set for April 25. An estimated 300,000 fans are expected to converge on the city for the event, and in preparation for this mass gathering, there will be street closures in the downtown area, with limited parking, combined with the presence of wide media coverage. The event will span throughout Nashville’s downtown district, and the Renaissance Nashville Hotel will serve as the host hotel.
Coupled with the NFL Draft, is the staging of the Country Music Marathon for the weekend, with runners/guests coming in during the week. Collectively, they estimate in excess of 500,000 in downtown Nashville!
In the best interest of our constituents and ardent patrons, TSMSDC, with the help of the Renaissance Nashville Hotel, has decided to reschedule its Impact Awards Gala, from April 25 to May 2. Our hope is that this date change will encourage your attendance and not cause you any inconvenience.

The Impact Awards is designed to honor members and affiliates for outstanding achievement in business development and collaboration.
During the course of the evening, coveted awards and scholarships will be presented to a distinguished group of corporations, minority businesses, individuals, and high school seniors.
