NAIC GETS $1.4 MILLION MBDA GRANT TO RAISE $1 BILLION FOR INVESTMENT IN MINORITY ENTREPRENEURS: The action comes as access to capital remains the most important factor limiting the ability of many of the nation’s 11 million minority- and women-owned business enterprises (MWBEs) to increase in scale. manufacturer dedicated to providing drivers with peace of mind in all conditions, celebrated the official opening of its North American production factory in Dayton, Tennessee on Wednesday. The 830,000-square-foot complex is one of the most advanced tire production facilities in the industry.

TOYOTA PLANS TO ADD HUNDREDS OF JOBS AT KENTUCKY PLANT, OFFERS SIGNING BONUS: Toyota plans to add 400 workers as soon as possible to its plant in Georgetown, Ky., the Japanese automaker announced. The new hires at the plant, which is Toyota’s largest in the world, will receive a $500 signing bonus if they remain on the job for at least six months, according to Toyota spokesman.
