NASHVILLE EYES PIPELINE TO WALL STREET AFTER SECURING AMAZON, ALLIANCEBERNSTEIN DEALS: 
It’s been quite a year for NashvilleOver the course of the past 12 months, city officials

secured deals with some of the biggest companies in the U.S., including Amazon, AllianceBernstein, EY, SmileDirectClub, Mitsubishi and Pilot.com, culminating, in total, close to 10,000 new jobs.

NISSAN SLASHING JOBS WORLDWIDE FOLLOWING SHIFT REDUCTIONS IN CANTON, MISSISSIPPI: Financially struggling Nissan

Motor Co. will cut about 9% of its global workforce under a turnaround plan announced in Japan on Thursday. No reductions are anticipated for the engine, vehicle assembly and office operations in Middle Tennessee.

BEAM SUNTORY INVESTING $60 MILLION IN CLERMONT TO RE-ESTABLISH JAMES B. BEAM DISTILLING: Beam Suntory broke ground on the Fred B. Noe Craft Distillery, which will be the home of future innovation and provide opportunities for education and hospitality.  The new distillery is part of a larger $60 million investment to re-establish the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont.

ATLAS AIR INVESTS $34M, WILL ADD NEARLY 600 JOBS WITH MOVE TO ERLANGER: Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings Inc. will move its operations center from Florence to Erlanger, with a $34.1 million investment expected to create 593 additional full-time Kentucky jobs.

ITALY-BASED ENERGY COMPANY OPENS WEIRTON MANUFACTURING OPERATION: An Italy-based energy company’s first permanent operation in the United States is now open in Hancock County, WV, bringing around 100 new jobs to the area.
